I am using the Mirror technique to know myself. What is the next step?
How to transform my limiting or negative patterns, beliefs, values and behaviors after exposing them? What should I do?
Before answering those questions, I must emphasize that self change takes time. To change habits take time. Do not expect that In the minute you got the insight you'll change.
First you have to take an active decision that you want to change this part of yourself, and you are going to stay awake.
"What should I do in order to change?"
The answer is that YOU DO NOT HAVE TO "DO" ANYTHING!
This kind of internal change does not involve doing but watching, paying attention.
From the moment you've learned something new about yourself you have to be alert to catch it when it pups-up in your life. You do not need to take any initiative action. Just be a watcher, a witness. Observe the phenomena when it shows in your daily life. Pay attention to cause-and-effect relationships that trigger it, pay attention to your feelings in those situations.
That all you need to "do". Awareness by itself changes you. Watching on something changes it. This is a law of the universe.
At first you will notice the pattern only after the situation ended. With time you will notice the pattern when it is actually accrued. And then you will be aware before the pattern is taking control, and then you can make a choice to change your "Automatic pilot" to new reaction.
Then the transformation is done!
You can speed and reinforce the transition by the following:
A mirror dairy – write down all your observations and thoughts. It will help you to see things differently and to have more insights.
Tell yourself positive affirmations about the new you.
If you can, meditate and visualize yourself as you want to be.
